Helluut! Hmmm....Maybe some of you in here share my interest with tomes and grimoires, in that case, this will interest you.(if not, it wont) Have you ever heard of the CODEX GIGAS, also referred to as the devils bible? It was written in the 13th century by a monk in old bohemia. Today it rests in the national library of Sweden. It weighs 75kg--165lbs, and it is 92 cm--36.2in tall, 50cm--19.7in wide and about 22 cm--8.6in thick. Legend has it that the devil himself has written the book, heres the outline of the story: A monk in the Benedictine monastary was sentenced to be bricked up for sinning. The monk promised that he would write an amazing book, containing all of mans knowledge, and that he would write it on one day. As the deadline drew nearer the monk became afraid that he would not be able to finish the book in time, and so he called upon the devil to finish the book for him in return for his immortal soul. This is the picture in the end of the book that is said to be a tribute to the books co-writer Here is a picture showing the books size And here is the wiki link: da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_GigasRight now it is home in Prague for a six week visit, so if you live there you could check it out. Hope i havent bored you with this,
