Today I had the pleasure of watching the 1979 movie 'Meetings with Remarkable Men', about the early years of G.I.Gurdjieff's search for meaning and knowledge throughout the East and the 'Remarkable Men' he encounters along the way.
There were many powerful and captivating scenes in this movie and some wonderful eastern music played throughout and I highly recommend those of you practicing the Fourth Way to go out of your way to watch this one.
You'll see how Mr. Gurdjieff struggled with the many aspects of religious and scientific thought and the knowledge he acquired from various 'Remarkable Men' on his journey that lead him to discover the answers he sought for so long. Eventually, the ideas and practices he discovered along his journey would lead him to create his own school in Russia, but that is another story better left to the book, 'In Search of the Miraculous'.
I didn't know this movie existed until I saw High Priest Satanis' comment on a scene from the movie on youtube. I then proceeded to track it down via the internet.
If anyone is interested in a link as it is a hard movie to find, PM me and I'll try to help you.

You won't be disappointed my friend. Check out the opening scene with the meeting of the musicians in the valley and see how good it is. There is a lot of things that are reinforced in this movie on how Gurdjieff came to his discoveries whilst on his journey with different friends and allies.
It's good to see him in this light, as just another human being searching for answers and never giving up until he finds his school. It's also funny along the way, how he makes money to pay for his seeking of knowledge and travels.
