Thats so fucking bad ass. I have always had a hard time expressing my emotions, with a girlfriend or anyone for that matter. Which has always bothered me. Just tonight I made sure to discuss it with my girl & were closer for it. I told her I have these moments of "distance" that I cant control & that Id like to be called on it when it happens. Of course she accepted.
Your brake down of how the person feels when their telling you their problems is right on. Thats exactly how it happens. They re almost afraid to confront the real issue, & would prefer you to add on to their whorl wind of confusion & sleep. They want you to help them stay asleep. Anyway.
Awake!

Thats so fucking bad ass. Thank you. Just remember that you asked her to do so the next time you're in a heated argument and she takes her opportunity to remind you of it. Your brake down of how the person feels when their telling you their problems is right on. Thats exactly how it happens. They re almost afraid to confront the real issue, & would prefer you to add on to their whorl wind of confusion & sleep. They want you to help them stay asleep. Anyway. Most people do want you to help them remain asleep. They want you to help to validate their non-existence with the mundane distractions they indulge in. By triggering negative emotions in the other person, they are hoping to reinforce their need to be "right" in their "wrongness." Sleep. Awake!
