This is the newest piece in what will be a triptych of symbolic depictions of Nyarlathotep, Azathoth and Yog-Sothoth. Each piece is separated into two parts. This is my depiction of the Crawling Chaos. It was created with acrylic, watercolour, pastel, and metallic and textural agents.

These are very impressive! I've always wanted to try my hand at painting but have yet to attempt anything. You have some true talent!

Thank you all. I will have the other two in the triptych up before too long. They're still in progress, but they're getting there.

No.
It is a thorned variation of the symbol for the planet Mars (which is also the representation of the male dynamic. You will also find the symbol for Venus in there, representing the female dynamic. These combine, and with the addition of the goats horns/devouring "cheshire cat" smile form the symbol for Mercury, the hermaphrodite. This illustrates the omnipresence of Nyarlathotep in many different forms and traditions. Also, it represents higher states through unification of all the different aspects of the self/selves.
