I have been reading different topics from the forum on and off for the past few months and working directly with Master Satanis trying to get a better understanding of the Coc and where my beliefs lie.
For now, I will introduce myself as the Vessel for Master Satanis because I am carrying his first born; a daughter, who I believe was created to do amazing things in this world. She is the greatest gift I have ever been given and there's a reason for her existence; give it time and she will surprise you all.
I was brought up in a Catholic family and until about a year ago always believed in God as my Higher Power. I still believe that there is a God, it's just a matter of what form he takes. I've had a lot of hardships in my life, most of them I brought on myself but a lot of them I didn't; which got me questioning if there truly was this greater being, then why is my life, like many others so full of sorrow, hurt and sadness?
At this point I'm open to other's perspectives on life and living. Many aspects of the way Master Satanis lives his life I'm interested in. I see what he's done with the Coc and his dedication to his members; what a great person he can be because of his beliefs. His daily commitment to bettering himself and the people around him is inspiring to me.
We do differ in some areas but He has opened my eyes to a lot in the short time that I've known him. While I still struggle with negative thoughts and emotions from time to time, He has helped me see life in a different way and opened my eyes to a whole new world. To a way of living that is positive, meaningful and real.
Will I find what I'm looking for in the Coc, I don't know, but I'm willing to give it a try and see if this is where I fit in. Maybe this is the piece of the puzzle that's been missing that will help me feel whole again.
