I just watched the movie about Howard called The Whole Wide World. One of the scenes has his mother telling him a fan called named H. P. Lovecraft and he asked if he could call back later. I thought it was an interesting part of the movie. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_E._HowardH oward was both influenced by and an influence on his friend H. P Lovecraft. Many ideas that he discussed in his letters to Lovecraft were repeated in his fiction and the discussion with a fellow professional writer was useful to him. For his part, Lovecraft began to include Howardian action sequences in his own work, for example in "The Shadow Over Innsmouth".270] Much of 1931 was spent by Howard attempting to mimic Lovecraft's style. After that year, he had absorbed the parts of it that worked best for him and made them his own.[Awake Haven't seen that one, I'll have to check it out. Was it good? Sounds interesting. Awake! That was an interesting and in depth article on "Two- Gun Bob". Environmental Influences and others, definitely shape our existence, and especially our mechanical thought process here on this prison called earth. He was an amazing writer, and I will have to check out his part in the Cthulhu Mythos and read some of his works. Thanks for the thread. Hail Cthulhu!
