We've all heard of the crazy diets out there that promise a magical food or magical compound found in certain foods. Bottom line: There is no magic bullet to weight loss, and there is no food that will help you burn more calories.
The only way to speed up your metabolism is to exercise and build muscle. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat. So if you're building muscle and losing fat the scale might stay the same, or weight might move up a bit.
Hope this might be helpful.

It is, Alba, thanks. Yes, there are tons of wacky myths out there. What about green tea? I hear that takes weight off. True or false?

Audra Lightning Green tea is good too, but hard work and diet is still the only way. Getting heart rate up and work up a good sweat. Everything else is just a supplement to the hard work. Awake!
