Tonight, starting around... Midnight-ish, I suppose, I had one of the most amazing meditations of my life. I was sitting in my room and it all came naturally - totally unplanned, all intuition. I set up my Shub-Niggurath altar (adorned with a goat skull, decorated with large black feathers, and oozing black wax; a censer; my grimoire; and, behind the Idols horns, my bodhran drum, which is emblazoned with the Dark Ancestry sigil from Cthulhu Cult, as a focal point.) and turned on my green light. I opened with various breathing excercises I learnt years ago and have since forgotten what they're called, or where they're from. These were performed standing. I then sat before the altar, and ignited the incense (a home-made one of wormwood and shredded blood-soaked tissue), and resonated the name of the Formless Black Essence until I felt attuned and awakened. I recited the Malevolent Meditations and paid my respects to the A:O, and once again resonated "Ahraev'Nuszeth'Kaiul". My entire body was filled and emptied simultaneously. I felt nothing and everything. Now, a couple of hours later, I feel at once more emotional than ever, and yet totally serene, full of positivity and apathy at the same time. I feel powerful. All of my movements feel fluid and somewhat.. slithery, and yet I am walking upright, and moving with will and purpose. In short, I feel fucking great ;D

that is fantastic!!!
sounds like you did everything right. and by right, i mean you performed the working in accordance with your own high aesthetic standards. the more effort you put into something, the more you get out. well done!
now imagine the results if you were to create that experience on a weekly basis...

Thank you, VS. I intend to do this more often. I might even try adding a few other things to it, Angle recitations, and such.
Ia! Ahraev'Nuszeth'Kaiul! Ia! Ny'obstaresh!

see, this is what I'm talking about.
Books are useful, books are tools - its the understanding of concepts and praxis of their contents is what's most important.

Yeah, I get it. All at once, it came naturally to me, in one big wave.
"As I grow stronger, so does the Cult. As the Cult grows stronger, so do I"
