The existence of structures and artifacts have been found which represent higher technological knowledge than was common in that era is presumed to be alien influenced. This cornerstones an explanation for the origins of religions as reactions to contact with an alien race. Special guest Cora'sahn joins Venger and Beast as they investigate these claims... Are the gods of our past really just alien vistors? www.blogtalkradio.com/theooze/2009/12/05/chariots-of-the-gods

Comments I posted on the Blog-Talk Radio site: Von Daniken's Ancient Astronaut theories: My slideshow on ancient artifacts relative to this discussion: www.slide.com/r/ipdH_ZMe2D8DI0ZtyQ_Zyol5S4LL5EtKMy slideshow on human sacrifice (Mayans): www.slide.com/r/9Htf5orB5z8Lapwa3ya7Sv32VCU3C8LzExtra-terrestrial= life not of this earth. Alien, is just another term for ET's. There are a great many things which go beyond our understanding today, and wasn't that much different then. Today, we have modern invention to communicate these 'I don't know's' a lot better. We find an artifact, and assume these things were worshipped. If they find a cave painting of a woman, they say 'Ohhh the great goddess' when in fact, the body of a woman was used to communicate many ideas. Its by no means 'proof' of goddess worship just as these artifacts throughout various cultures aren't 'proof' of ancient aliens. It's a fascinating idea to explore. Human imagination is without limits. This the youtube featuring the 'light bulb' theory I discussed.
