damn, this 50's scifi B-movie parody was hilarious. highly recommended! the sequel, The Lost Skeleton Returns Again, should be out any time now. can't wait to watch it.

"Supreme shock sensation of our time!", "This was the day the Earth was disemboweled in terror", Now that is what I call good movie hype.

This looks to be as hilariously fun as Plan 9 From Outer Space.

i could, but the film has precious little to do with the Mythos. i'd be more interested in reviewing some older HPL based films. maybe ones that will be shown during the convention in less than 2 weeks?
indeed. TLSoC takes all-too-familiar B movie tropes and exploits them for maximum laughs. whether you rent it, buy it, or cue it up on netflix... i think most people would love this film.

p.s. recently watched the re-make of The Day The Earth Stood Still. yikes! how crappy can mindless CGI-fests get? i guess it was ok to a certain degree, but it really sank to the lowest common denominator for me. especially since the original is so much better. such a waste...

I know I remeber thinking "What the fuck!" at the end of that film. BUt every time I looked at Keanu Reeves I didn't seen an alien....all I was hearing out of his mouth was "Wild Stallions!" and the movie would have been way better if it was like that. "Like, dude, we, like, need to stop these aliens, man."

I've seen it, it's totally campy. They played it during the Horror Fest Marathon last year. Actually, you could use it to demonstrate the archetypes applied to the movie characters - it would take some critical examination on your part, wouldn't want to you bust a gasket or anything :-)

Finding that there is an actually thread dedicated to this most hilarious movie; I knew that I was where I was suppose to be...
"Lost Skeleton" is a classic!
Classic line: Ranger Brad; I'm a scientist...I don't believe in anything.
Question: Is anyone else a member of the "LSOC" fan forum?
