Now, bear with me here...
I have no knowledge whatsoever of the Fourth Way and I'd like someone to explain it to me in layman's terms, if possible.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not stupid! I just need a bit of teaching in this subject.

I just finished reading the lectures.
The "Fourth Way" school looks like a great. I'm from a "shamanistic" school, but I was familar with the ideas presented using different words.
I would say that actually "belonging" to a school is not actually necessary, but it does speed things up. As he says in the begining of the lecture, the ideas presented are thousands of years old. Many cultures have the concept of multiple "souls" in a body making up a person, much like the 4 "centers" postulated.
I would recommend the Fourth Way to any begining student.
The Sleeper must Awake.

Thanks so much for that, it's been a great, great help.
And I realized three things while reading your post, HPVS:
1) I recognized it from my reading of Cthulhu Cult 2) I've already awoken, once. 3) Awakening is not something that happens once. You need to awaken several times during your life until you awaken permanently. (That's my opinion anyway)
