A Simple Technique for Aligning yourself with The Ancient Ones.
I'll give the basics but you can do this with additional Visualizations.
This also works with a group.
Leave Electronics Behind... or Turn Them Off.
First, go out to the Wilderness. Anywhere.
Then proceed to hike any direction away from Civilization and/or other People.
While you (and possibly your group) are hiking, preferably off trail, try to avoid talking as much as possible.
You need to pay attention to your senses.
Also try to clear your mind and be mindful that you are doing this Commune with The Ancient Ones.
OK, so you keep walking until you hit an area where you get an Intense feeling of Awe & Dread.
If you are doing this with a Group Keep hiking Deeper until All of You have the Feeling of Awe & Dread.
If you are One of the First Ones to Get the feeling in the group, stay mindful of it and Keep It with You.
But when you (or all of You) finally have the feeling sit down.
Then you meditate.
But in this Meditation you Widen your Awareness.
If you are doing this successfully you may feel you Senses Heightened.
As if you were "more" animal.
The feeling of Awe, Dread & Anxiety may increase.
You want to "Harness" this power and align yourself with it.
Don't try to Control it.
YOU WILL LOSE.
But Allow it to "Wash" through you.
You should hit some Level of Gnosis/Revelation/Awakening.
Stay with it as long as possible, but don't try to Force it to stay.
You'll lose it if you do.
You (and your group) may need a grounding activity after this before you go back to the "Civilized" World.
I don't really believe in Using Banishing, but hey that's just me.
Oh and there is potential to become "Possessed" or a "Medium" for communication.
You can do this at home too.
I do it at night when I'm alone or others are asleep.
I widen my Perception like above and Invoke the feeling of Awe & Dread.
The same effects happens.
I just feel it's more appropriate to start off outdoors until you experience it fully so you can recreate it.
The Ancients Are Everywhere And They Watch

I felt like I was expanding.. and falling.. I get similar feelings... I feel like my Consciousness is blending into my surroundings at times... I've got the Vertigo too... Bad enough where I did a face-plant once or twice... ;D

I got in the Muslim praying position when I did it last.. not only does it stop you from falling on your face, but it helps further block your physical sight.

I Think that is more a Licantropy Awakening! Really looks like a meditation that I saw in a book to Awake your Lycantrope side!

Hmmm.. re-reading this today, i think that this is fairly close to my own nature actually. I like the method you have described here.
Unfortunately, in Denmark, there isnt really any way to leave civilization at all. Here there are only small green spots between the cities and other populated areas, and the green spots are getting smaller everyday. There ARE places on the other danish islands were there is more nature than here, but it is also disappearing fast (in my view but many danish politicians will probably tell you the opposite). There is nothing here but asphalt soon.
I was walking around a small hill with an even smaller lake next to it. On my whole route i encountered other people from time to time. So i kept walking all the while toying with the thought that i was in a deep isolated forest (yet still knowing and keeping in mind the limitations of the areal size of the place) until i stood at the lake. The water is hypnotic on me. Liquids are wonderful. The wind pushed the water pattern in a direction so that it seemed to endlessly travel to my right (the side of the lake where i was going to venture next). I walked on and in short time i stood on the side of the lake with the water traveling against me. There i began whispering a rant in an alien tongue (my fountain of mumbo jumbo). I noticed people taking notice of me and soon ventured on. When i got to the side of the lake that was furthest from where i initially had come from, i got a call on my mobile and had to set off running in a haste to meet up with a friend who would pick me up in his car.
And know i just got another call from another friend and i shall set off in a haste once more, lol

Both represent our primal side. I just tend to focus more on premamalian, such as amphibian/reptilian, aspects. You are right, it CAN be used to awaken the beast side. I Think that is more a Licantropy Awakening! Really looks like a meditation that I saw in a book to Awake your Lycantrope side!

I've started Galossia at work under my breath before, as I often work alone. If I do that at home, or hiss the words of the angles, my cats start flipping out, one starts making meows and rubbing all over my face, nipping and licking. It l is a good test of consentration, but it also adds to the mood to see animals reacting in such a way! Hmmm.. re-reading this today, i think that this is fairly close to my own nature actually. About the Lycantrope note,
I agree.
Being out in nature in such a manner, is a great way to connect with ones inner beast. The beast in the blood.

Wow madguten, it sounds like Denmark kinda sucks.... I say that cause I've always been a country boy... I think I'd go nuts if I were in a city too long...
But I will say that you were on the right track when you were walking around trying to convince yourself that you were alone in the wilderness.
The whole idea is to make yourself feel vulnerable and open...
You can get results anywhere and anytime actually...
But I think it's easier to physically go out than just mentally, plus my visualization skills need more work...
;D

I am sure that many people here in the country feel very different from me, but i feel caged in. I sorta envy people who have lots of space outside. Our population is NOTHING compared to other countries but we have spread out nicely over the land here. We are more or less everywhere.
Yes and both human body and mind can be very vulnerable, to a perhaps scary degree even. Flesh and mind are fragile.
But of course they are also strong, it all depends on how you look at it.. ;D
