There is a H.P. Lovecraftbust available from Arkham Studios. You may or may not be aware of this, it just crossed my mind just now and so i thought i would make a post about it. From arkham-studios.com Standing approximately 12 inches high, the expertly sculpted countenance of HP Lovecraft sits atop an antique style base with curved scrolls and filigrees, not unlike the aesthetic of Lovecraft himself.
price: $300.00 shipping USA: $25.00 shipping World: $45.00www.arkham-studios.com/catalog/lovecraftbust.htmlIa! Lovecraft!

Wow, that is awesome! Forget a bust of Pallas, he'd be much creepier to have inside one's chamber door.

Cool, there are a lot of really neat and wonderful idols out for sale. But i think this one is one of the most wonderful, aarh heck they are all equally grand. But the color on this one is especially divine.
I think it shall serve you well both in and out of ritual.
try watching (keeping an eye on) it though, i could swear that my idol, is slightly different sometimes, maybe its just an angle or positioning thing, but i could swear than it sorta vibrates or moves slightly sometimes. Probably just my rotten brain trying to fool me ;D

try watching (keeping an eye on) it though, i could swear that my idol, is slightly different sometimes, maybe its just an angle or positioning thing, but i could swear than it sorta vibrates or moves slightly sometimes. Probably just my rotten brain trying to fool me ;D Ever heard of a Golem? I first heard about them in Leilah Wendel's [sic?] "The Necromantic Ritual Book." According to that book, one is to fashion a Golem from any necromantic materials available: dead (and rotten) wood for the skeletal frame, bones (if available); dead leaves, graveyard earth, and ...well... anything that is resonant with death energy... will make up the bulk of the statue. According to Wendel, her own Golem has "moved" in the same way you describe your idol moving. I always wanted to create one of these necromantic Golems, but haven't had the space as of yet to do so (they should be as life-like as possible I assume). I would reccommend that book to anyone. Although it is preoccupied with the Archangel Azrael, it is nevertheless a far cry from any of the modern (spiritually accepted) Archangel crap. www.westgatenecromantic.com/check out the "Westgate Publications" link on the left. Some of you here may remember me alluding to this book quite some time ago.

Yes that book has good info. Donnald Tyson in "Familiar Spirits" talks about a phenomina to where the portrait of familiar spirits at time seem to move, as well as various religious statues around the world. He believes since MOST of what we see is made in our brain, what we see ISNT because the object is PHYSICALY moving, but the spirit/entity associated with the (un?)holy object is trying to communicate and makes our brain see it move! Yes, "The Necromantic Ritual Book" is a good source on making a Golem alligned with Azrael, the angel of death. Why not make one of Cthulhu with varoius bones as the framework? It is a simular effect. Things that are the focus of great spiritual power tend to take on a life of their own in the astral. In greco-roman mythology you often see stories sighting this phenominon as well.. sometime the people are "commanded by the gods" in this manner.
