What can i say, when i first found S V Mitchell (UK) last week on myspace as i was checking out the Giger page, my first thought was; wow, this dudes stuff is amazing. It has now been a week or so and i have had a little time to check out Mitchell and his work, i can only say again what i initially did; THIS DUDES STUFF IS AMAZING!
There is probably a more suitable word for people like Mitchell than simply "amazing" but for lack of better that is what i shall call him.
Dude and his work speak for themselves. He is self taught, started in the late eighties as a tattoo artists and had since touched on many areas of artistic expression (i even think that he made the awesome track on his myspace page himself).
His paintings are....well, just look ;D
He also carves sculptures. He has carved a skull from a piece of rock that was removed from Stonehenge in 1958.
This site is about THAT skull in particular

I cant yet get a clear overview of his work, no matter for here are his sites:
This is his site

Aside from being an interesting artist he is also what many would call an interesting person. He has spend time with different tribes and strikes me as being a person who has genuine respect for the phenomena of spirituality. (what the hell does my deluded ass know anyway, lol)
AND he isnt one of those kind of artists who wont take a dump without getting paid a mill for it in advance, he has a e-book out that he sends free of charge to anyone who emails him about it (like our own good High Priest has, and does). I love that.
On the main page of his site you'll find the info on the book and his mail address.
Dude is highly productive, and right now he is busy with and art exhibition, if you live in England near Bath, then you can still manage to go see it Sunday (29) is the last day, so its a close call, lol.

I could sit here and praise Mitchells work all night, but i think that i will rather quiet down and let his work speak for itself.
