Ia all, just wondering if anyone has done any workings to Azathoth? I have had rituals to Great Cthulhu, Hastur and Yog Sothoth, and now would like to do a ritual specifically to Azathoth.
I am using the CoC ritual format, and am working what I term the baptism of slime, where I plan on using some of the green slime stuff you can find...
Well any suggestions or comments are welcomed.
Ia Cthulhu!

holy crapety crap ;D that DOES look alike. hmm... I get these sigils through different methods while i shower. But i can not deny the distinct possibility that i may have picked this up, forgotten about it, and then carried it around subconsciously, because i AM a big fan of your art (and i remember seeing the image before now that i see it again), and i AM an airhead. Who knows, i encounter so many of these "coincidents" that i would go mad(er) if i didnt dismiss it as coincident (and then worshiped it like mad in secret, lol) what do you make of the rest? anything you have seen before? three of them are in this thread in a combined version. cocthulhu.proboards105.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=114&page=2

ha ha, that rock blows my mind. In the haste i mis-drew the cthul symbol and left out the second line because i scanned it in a rush before posting, the full symbol from the old post looks so much like the symbol on the rock, its amazing. The universe really does mirror itself in its creation. What a trip. ps: I had a period like 1,5 years ago when I dreamt about spirals over and over..that let to an ongoing project that I probably will post about at some other time.
Sounds interesting. We are sometimes more awake while physically sleeping, that is when our mind goes for a walk and learns things. EDIT: About the holographic universe, i am a great fan of the speculations it raises. There was a discussion about it here at some point.

Actually yes and no. Thoth is the god of magick, writing, alchemy, astronomy, astrology, magick-science, architecture, and the creator of the solar calender. Thoth is a master/teacher/sorcerer/alchemist. And Aza is a bastardized form of the word "Azag" which means "black". So Azag-thoth, is basically a chaotic version of Thoth, the god of Egypt.

Ia Cthulhu! In regards to the ritual, I used no sigil but instead used the Rite of Transmutational Sorcery from www.chaosmatrix.org. At one point, I actually astral projected during meditation to Azathoth, in the center of chaos.
