I really like your current posting about crossing the abyss. It is concise and also really good advice for those who are making it.
I think that having like minds to discuss the perception shift make the whole journey so much easier on the mind. One can come to understand that one is not going insane....one is just simply seeing the universe without blinders for the first time. Its is awesome and daunting and beautiful all rolled into one.
I have actually ended up with a whole new set of eyeballs it would seem (metaphorically speaking) I feel like I am looking at the world and seeing it in "code". It all appears to be expanding or contracting energy. Nothing more.
As far as the trip to SF went: I am so glad that you got to see our beautiful coast! I sure wish I had realized that you were in SF...I would have driven down happily to have the oppurtunity to meet you!!! Please come back someday!
Well, I just wanted to say how much I like the changes to the site and the beginnings of your new blog....awesome!
Jaz.

thanks, Jaz. i appreciate the feedback. and glad you liked the Abyss crossing essay.
if i had i planned on traveling alone, i would have given everyone advanced warning and tried to accommodate people's schedules. after all, it would be great to meet all of you in person. however, since it was a "couple's trip" with my girlfriend i thought it was best to slip away in secret. but next time, for sure!

I too must voice my excitement about the new blog posts. They are on point, dead on, down to bizness . I think i see the sharpening of focus that VS mentioned after his return.

I also wanted to mention that I really liked the preparedness bit. It really resonates with me. I do believe we are being prepared....almost as if right now we are in a larval state and its up to us to burst out of our shells and make something of ourselves.
To what end? I do not know....I only know the drive to become something else and something better. Something not human.
I don't feel very human anymore at all. Its all part of the new world order.
The idea of setting up a contingency plan is also really important because the COC must go on. With or without you. What is being put forth here is of utmost importance.
Thank you again for everything. Jaz.

yes!
this shell will not last forever. a century from now, my body will most definitely have rotted away, and the High Priest of 2108 will hopefully be wading through pools of blood, slime, and darkness!

Thank you Venger for your words of wisdom, I hadn't yet read the new blog entries until tonight. You pretty much nailed it on the head there didn't you? the "Crisis of Faith" entry opened things up for me, and things are coming clear as through a haze. (no, not necessarily a haze of cannabis smoke, but that too lol! And it is great to hear of your political ambitions as well! The Cult be aggrandized! H

just added some short fiction which i'd worked on during the latter part of 2007, as well as, a list of 9 ideal Cultist attributes.
read it all on the blog. Venger Satanis Speaks!
hope you enjoy,

The nine cultist attributes are great advise.
I read "Something Awful On The Cream Tile Floor". I liked how the writing style made me feel inside the character in no time. I think its a good piece of work. Very complete.

The next/previous page links on your blog seem to be broken, at least they give a 404 on my machine right now... the url they point to seems to contain an extra /shogblog/ since it worked when I removed one of them.

thanks, i'll look into that...
overall, i'm fairly disappointed with how my blog looks and what i've done with it. the new Cult site will have a handful of Cultist blogs and at that time, i think i'll just kill the current one.

Venger! Happy belated birthday....I was wondering if you were familiar with the D&D book of "Vile Darkness" where it talks about the different blood rites that have to be witnessed at night and in the presence of a demon...are there 2 spells involved, summoning and blood magic, or just a ritual that by it's own power draws things/beings to it. It doesn't really go into details so I was curious of your opinion. Also congrats on the movie, sounds like a great idea. I'd love to help out by I live across the country...
