Perhaps, but the dread one shall not.
He shall break the creator in two and devour both pieces.

that is interesting. what i've done (according to the ancient ways) is to recognize the "universal God" as hostile to humanity, but just not worship him. instead, the CoC is devoted to those forces that work against the natural order... and we call those forces the Great Old Ones.
everlasting torment? that is probably more motivating, at least it sounds more serious, than an everlasting cycle of sleepwalking, death, rebirth, and yet more sleepwalking. what really happens to 90% of humanity is still a kind of torture though.
some off-beat christians like to "go wild" with their masochism, praising the kind of God that hates them. how foolish and wasteful! if something is opposed to you, then fight. there's no other way but struggle against the enemy.

it may not be a God at all, or a God as we generally perceive Gods to be. maybe more like a computer program or molecular foundation? however, humanity has created many images of a being or force that created and governs earth. this is the force that wants to feed upon our suffering. you can call him Jehovah, the Demiurge, Yahweh, Allah, or whatever, but for the purposes of clarification we call them the lesser gods.
the essential parts of a human being that are unique to an individual cease to exist upon the body's demise... unless that being has changed himself and Awoke (then we can start talking about an afterlife, other dimensions of existence etc). for most people, their soul disintegrates and whatever is left of their consciousness and "humanness" is recycled into a giant melting pot and given to new human beings when they are born.
say an ordinary man dies. his essence evaporates and whatever is left over, his personality, goes to a place where all surface humanity is stored. when a baby is born, then some personality is removed from this pool and placed inside the child. so humans are recycled, some prefer reincarnated, and each individual receives their own unique soul that has the potential to wake up from this illusion; however, most don't even realize what's going on or what is at stake. the vicious circle of suffering continues and the universe is pleased.
i was thinking of this just the other day, the expression "they broke the mold after he was made." what does that refer to? well, if someone follows their own direction, their True Will, then that human has more or less Awoken. what has come through, their soul, has eclipsed personality. they are unique and no other human being will be like them because what is showing cannot be recycled. souls are never recycled. personality is recycled and that is the mask of the sleeper.

Venger..... Your words are echoes of gold unto me; the reverberations of my own consciousness which bounce off the walls of this spiritual recycling bin. -H.

we are against the lesser gods because they enslave us in this illusion of a world. they also use our suffering as energy. we only worship the Gods who are currently banished from this dimension. the A:O helped us to evolve and allow us the few freedoms we have.

I think your right to some extent V about what most people will experence apon death.I do not believe in reincarnation myself. It's more like remanifestation along family lines.I think that those useless 90% are given an opertunity to add to the fitness of the 10% or remenent of awake people. So there essence lives on to some extent but not as a full soul. what do you think about this? just wanted to know.

I see life (reality, existence, etc.) as a game (a la the teachings of Seth). That said, the normal ideas of reincarnation are obsolete. I call it "Reload" because it is more like waiting to be re-loaded into the game. This is the most realistic game ever created. Remember that; now remember yourself.

someone once said cant remember who, "do you remember before you where born? that is what it is like after you die", but i beleive that if you are truly enlightened and have a free mind you are able to do anything, so the thought of reincarnation, or even godlike abilities may be possible if you are truly free. The sky is the limit.

Has anyone ever seen "The Frailty"?
Just an example of some Christian psychosis.
You know, other than just the normal child molestation, etc.
This may be a bit off topic, but I thought of this movie and thought I'd mention it.

That just so happens to be one of my all-time favorites!! I first saw that movie at a time when I was a Christian myself.... ...completely inspiring...

haha, wow I haven't been a Christian since I was like 8. I wanted a microscope and I prayed for, didn't get it and became an Atheist. & I liked the Frailty a lot too. It reminded me of some people I know. In fact I started calling one of my super christian teachers "That Frailty Bitch"

I actually believe that Gods are just energies that are attracted to our minds.
They may not necessarily have the same resemblance as we see in drawings. But that doesn't mean they are the opposite of what they look like in drawings.
The drawing is merely the artists visual manifestation of the energy he was perceiving. (perception being the illusion here)
All things exist because they are thought of existing.
If you believe in all things it is a choice to equally believe in one thing.
