Yesterday, i went to the beach before the sun came up to see the sunset, bringing with me my Cthulhu idol. [glow=red,2,300]I sat in the darkness watching the horizon light up on top of the black water[/glow]. [glow=red,2,300]I stuck my idol in the sand facing the beach at the rim of the water and sat watching it for a moment while reciting the Hymn of Nothingness, from the Cthulhu Cult bible.[/glow]. [glow=red,2,300]Then i turned the idol around so it faced the ocean for departure.[/glow][glow=red,2,300]The sun began to rise over the horizon, peaking over the dark waters.[/glow][glow=red,2,300]The waves began to consume the clay idol and the stone foot sunk deeper and deeper into the sand. I made the three counters-seals from the CC along with my "combined sigil" from the "Cthulhu sigil" thread. I also buried a sheet of paper with the three counter-seals in the sand behind the idol of the dread one.[/glow][glow=red,2,300]I left the idol there and offered it to the waves of the depths as a symbol of respect for the great patience of the sleeping one. And to show that he is not alone in waiting and dreaming. I plan to make this act an annual tradition. I also shot a little bit of video, but i havent got it online yet.[/glow]On my walk home from the beach the crows knew what was up. [glow=red,2,300]IA!IA! KTULU FTAGN! [/glow] EDIT: I got cut off before because i got a guest so i didnt have time to finish the post. Im now waiting for the Christmas clay to hit the stores so i can make a new and better idol.

Thanks, i forgot to bring my compas. I had planned to use it to point out the direction of R'lyeh, but i forgot it in the rush. I will remember that next time.
lol, about 7 different people walking their dog came by and witnessed the act. Seven witnesses.

I am honored that you guys like You are all an inspiration to me, i think that Venger Satanis has created a beautiful work of great quality with a timing and a vision that seems send from beyond the stars. This is the cult of then, NOW and then once again, with a constant emphasis on the "now". That is a good thing, because this time we are in IS now and it will be, forever . The cult, book, mission and forum(s) are glooming with thought, life and awakeness. This is MY opinion anyway. Also i owe thanks to Valkyrie. It was her beautiful pictures that inspired me to go the the beach and watch the sunset.

Excellent work Madguten. I look forward to the video.
Interesting that you mention a dog being around. What kind was it? Was it on a lead or free?

No the dogs were being walked by their human companions. IF there had been a free dog there i would definitely have seen it as an omen of Satan being there. but all the dogs were being walked. I was so much in a trance that i did not realize many of the people passing by until they had already passed me. I was a sitting duck for any attacker. ;D

I'm glad my Iceland / Denmark pictures were of any inspiration to you! As for being a sitting duck for possible attackers, I wouldn't worry, in sacred moments like that your back is being covered!

That was mesmerizing. Thank you. I live on the cold north california coast....the beaches are wild and lonely here. I think I should go take a walk. Thank you again. That was wonderful.

your video was understated, wonderfully washed out, and very moving. you should sent that as a myspace comment. also, keep making short pieces like that one.
well done.

Wonderful. Sometimes it truly feels as if the waves themselves are created by the breath of the dread one. IA! IA! KTULU FTAGN!

What was the purpose of the sacrifice? Was it a tool, to experience the spiritual nature of Cthulhu? Was it some type of pact to the self?
I'm just curious.

It was mainly a message of respect and understanding to our drowned lord and a note that his awakening is awaited. But the main reason i do "rituals" like this is because i sort of need to, in order to fell free. I feel free, when i do it. Really free.

You really have outdone yourself Madguten. This is probably one of the best, if not the best, Cthulhu related ritual i have ever seen, but even more than the way it looks i can tell from your words that it had an even greater spiritual effect on you, not to mention you may have planted seven seeds which one day may grow into the tentacles of the drowned Lord.

Thank you. It felt as much as a funeral as it did a birth rite. I had a kinda melancholy feeling after it, but also a feeling of a beginning. Next October this idol is going in. I guess that one can do a ritual like this without creating an idol every time. One could use other things to honor the dread lord.

I am glad that you like it.
It took place in the middle of October, on the 15th when the moon was 15% visible. I get the clay for the new idol when the Christmas decoration clay hits the stores and have the new idol ready before the birthday of Venger Satanis in November.
It will probably be another date every year.
Whenever i feel drawn like the needle in a compass. ;D
