Hail All in the One.
First, thanks and respect to the High Priest for facilitating this gathering. It is indeed unique, and I have been drawn to it for reasons potent and indistinct. All understanding at the correct time.
Second, I would beg your indulgence, and ask a question of the workers of this gathering.
Do you believe that the magickal thoughts (and actions) undertaken by you and ones before you have, in the very recent past (say, the last 2 generations, 50 years) altered the nature of the veil between the congruent, collective, constricting reality, and the realities beyond?

Well, either my question was stupid, or so poorly phrased as to illicit no response. Let me try again, this time using different terms:
Is there a detectable difference in the nature of the gates, or the working thereof, from the works of Crowley et al several decades ago?
LeVey was a hollow fraud. Aquino was closer, and the gates are now more responsive. True or false?

i believe the gates (and their openings) are subjective. what works for one might not work for another.
i wouldn't say that about Anton Szandor LaVey. most of us wouldn't even know what Enochian, Keys, or Gates are without his Satanic Bible.
on the whole, i think the Outside is nearer...

Things are changing, that much is certain.
It's wholly peculiar. Everything about this world, its people, the buildings, the plants, animals, and skies, are beginning to seem more alien, while Cthulhu and the other gods beyond this plane are becoming more and more familiar.

I think this can all be bottom lined as Perception Reality, aka the universe changes to facilitate. not in a phisical form but in a way we can still visualy percieve, if the will is there. when the collective will grows powerfull, the universe must adhere. this, I think will mark the time of the great openning.
also, as responsabilities compell me to, I must advise against an early openning of the gates. disaster (for us I mean) looms in that future.

You think its a bad idea to open the gates early? I am interested. Why, exactly, would it mean disaster for us if we purposefully open the gates ahead of schedule? -M.

okay, pay attention. I got a rant worked up. the A:O are also the Banished, flung from Azathoths court and sent to "live" out a sort of life sentence on earth. well this was like sending a criminal to a paradise, so the stars were changed, probably by the Outer Gods, to imprison Cthulhu and comp. within the planet. the openning of the gates by the Key, Yog, will bring Azathoths court to earth. this would be disastrous for us if the A:O were not awake. The Outer Gods would demolish us without effort. earth would most likley be destroyed, the end. but then with the help of the A:O we might be able to continue existing. why would the A:O want to make us as they are? it seems to me there is a backing to this story that shows tension between the two. I do not fear the Awakening, for the Ancient Ones wish to bring us up from the muck. but the Openning is different. the Outer Gods want only to bring chaos to the ever expanding court of azathoth. this is my trepidation. this is my devotion to balance. Cthulhu must bring chaos to earth before the outer gods bring a chaos that we can't handle as an existing species. hope that cleared things up a bit. for a more detailed version click on the link to my Order of Ktulu site.

umm... maybe.
to me, the Outer Gods are very similar to the Great Old Ones, Elder Gods, Dark Gods, and Ancient Ones. the Outer Gods are part and parcel of the Cthulhu Mythos... basically They are all on the same side. which is maybe why we should use Ancient Ones ( A:O ) as an inclusive name for all such beings?
the only godlike forces which are truly hostile to humanity as a whole (including us) are the Lesser Gods, at least that's what i've named them. you can call them something else if you like ( the feeders? ) but it's very confusing to use a name which in some instance describes an A:O.
as for the Gates opening... your guess is as good as mine.

It doesn't work that way; We aren't delaying the return of the A:O, we just won't be able to do it until enough people have awakened. If we could do it, right now, we would. If we ever did it without first awakening, we'd probably receive a fate similar to everyone else. But the thing is, we can't, because we have to be awakened first before we can bring forth the old ones.

i would say attempted understanding is futile for most, but that is one of the CoC's tasks... to shamble in their footsteps.
yes, i believe that's very close to the mark.
