Hello,
I am a current student. I am taking a class about Fantasy Literature and in the class we are reading/discussing H.P. Lovecraft's works. I am giving a presentation over it and I chose to delve into The Cult of Cthulhu in order to do that. I was wondering if there was any literature I could possibly look up? If it would be possible for me to interview some members of the cult? Just any information would be great. I want to be able to represent the cult and it's members in the most realistic of ways. If anyone could reach out to me with anything that would be great. I went the route of emailing Venger Santanis, but I've not heard any response. I'm not even sure if the email is correct. Thank you for your time!

I'm not exactly for sure why you would want to research the Cult for a LIT class, much less one that's fantasy. Oddly enough, H.P. Lovecraft himself would roll over in his grave if he knew that someone thought his stories were "fantasy." Suffice it to say that it would REALLY piss the guy off. If you want to know more about Lovecraft and what he thought about his own work, you can puzzle it out from two non-fiction works of his: 1. Notes on Weird Fiction : www.hplovecraft.com/writings/texts/essays/nwwf.aspx2. Supernatural Horror in Literature : www.hplovecraft.com/writings/texts/essays/shil.aspxThen there's the numerous letters strewn 'round the internet and available in various published collections. Other than that, all I can tell ya is that we're not in the business of helping people with their homework. If you were a Lovecraft fan or were interested in his work for some reason other than a passing (double meaning here) grade, then that would be one thing. If that's the case, feel free to chat or ask questions. Otherwise, meh. -- SHITHEAD has spoken
