If you don't know the context, it doesn't really make sense. Sarcasm: it's what's for dinner. If that's the philosophy of Modern Satanism, I'm a zebra striped in fuchsia and lime green. Modern Satanism resents any sort of sense of entitlement, from others and especially from its own ranks. If I had to summarize the philosophy of Modern Satanism, it would be, "If at first you don't succeed, get up off your @$$ and try harder." That goes for Satanists first and foremost. A sense of entitlement is a symptom of whining and undue expectations, which is the last thing we'd tolerate, much less admire. |

I laughed at your remark Lord Satanis because it's so very true to me. One of the reasons I no longer strongly identify with Modern Satanism is the unremarkable amount of cynicism and negative perspectives that many that would call themselves Modern Satanists fester on. Instead of enjoying life for what it is, many I've come across seem to wallow on the pitfalls of society. Anyway, the second video made me laugh. It's ripe with sarcasm and colorful imagery. A lot of times we make fun of things that are a bit uncomfortable for us to fully accept or understand. If we can hear jokes about blacks or hispanics or women or white guys on TV, then we can hear jokes (thinly veiled ridicule) about homos. Sometimes a funny remark doesn't translate well... especially when we're high or self-conscious about our image.
The LHP community needs to cut everyone some slack. Threats of violence? Probably the last thing we need. Those are my 3 cents.

I find that very hard to swallow. Especially considering that I just read a fascinating theory that states that Satan as a force must be sentient simply because of the grand scope of all things that must be encompassed by that force. Interestingly enough, my duckies must be semi-sentient by the same theory... I wonder what they're very slowly thinking about? What he is attempting to do I applaud him for it.
Some of the people on there are impossible to talk to as it is their way (views) or the bloody fucking highway!!!
It is a bloody nightmare chatting on SIN at times.
That is my only criticism of that site!!!

The thing that really bothered me about SIN was there idea of respect. They say that respect must be earned. Now, while that does make some level of sense, the fact of the matter is that respect must also be given in order to be received. Not really "start respecting me or I'm leaving". I was looking for an excuse (but didn't actually need an excuse) to leave... due to the fact that Modern Satanism is an empty paradigm.
