Are you seriously belive, that Cthulhu is a real? He is a story by a writer, who look like on E.A. Poe.
Cthulhu is avatar of interesting ideas of artist or judge of raving idias.

Its a chaos magic practice to adopt a belief that something seemingly unreal like bugs bunny or superman is real,Cthulhu's is no exception.

What do you mean <magic practise>? Yes, things is real if we belive them. That`s mental. But we must not, to forget about real physics arguments. Cthulhu live in our minde, under ocean our thinks, dreams, ideas. But not in Pacific ocean. All gods live inside us, in our brains. Don`t take offence. It`s just my oppinion.

I guess its like the question if man can ever reach the other planets in our universe that are possible to live on, enabling us to keep up the existence of our race forever. It is only possible from the view that everything is possible. I guess its kinda how you define Cthulhu.
For me Cthulhu is a lot of things. One of these things is the end (of many wonderful and terrible things). The end is unavoidable and so, no matter how you look at it from that viewpoint, Cthulhu (being the end) is eventually unbeatable. but of course this is only a microscopic part of MY blind interpretation of the universe and the beyond. Who knows?
If Cthulhu was "just" an shapeless horrible monster rising from the ocean to stomp our cities to pieces like godzilla we could just nuke the damn thing and get it over with. I think we would have a fair chance at beating those odds no matter how big the thing was, but i do not believe that it is that simple. For those hellbend on stopping or sabotaging the eventual awakening of Cthulhu i am afraid that it will take more than mere nukes. Cthulhu is unavoidable. Cthulhu is the end. A force more powerful than creation, more powerful than the Creator even.
IA! IA! KTULU FTAGN!

Personally, I think he already has awakened and has been for some time. One can't help but notice the Satanic influences in society over the last century.

Yeah. CThulhu awakining coming soon (from 18,000,000 years) I have to ask. Why are you even on this board with an attitude like that? There's no way you would ever make it as a COC member, so why not go join another message board you can show support to instead of taking up our thread space?

For me, there will be no change but I will gladly celebrate the victory of the others in the C.O.C. and never feel envy while the rest ascend.

was that page ripped out of your Necronomicon? it says it right here in crystal clear blood on parchment...
"And lo, the One who hath a thousand and one viridian tentacles in which to breed was born on the day of translucent flesh reckoning... and future generations of worshipers shall know thy date as November 25th! Whereupon in 2007 of that distant time, His plethora-tentacled majesty shall celebrate his 8,000,000,208th birthday. And ye must give Him presents. Ia Ia. So it shall be done!"
makes me wonder what else is missing from your version, Madguten?!?

since i'll be accepting the presents for our Dreaming Lord, i'm going to have to veto the plunger gift. R'lyeh (not to mention the Aberdeen apt. building) has enough plungers already.do i look like i'm joking...?

This whole thing does bring up an interesting question...
IS Cthulhu real? Do you all believe he is real? And if you do believe he is real, does that mean he is real, in at least some realities?
|
|
|
Post by I AM the Way on Oct 21, 2007 22:41:48 GMT -6
first, we must sufficiently understand and define 'reality' so we can all agree on it. alright, now that we've failed at that impossible task, let's move on... is Cthulhu real? that depends. for most of us here, i'd say yes. does that mean he is real? yes. for those people who don't think Cthulhu is real, He's not. as strange as it sounds, i believe it's as simple as that.
what is your opinion... anyone?
