I came up with an alternative magic-user for all D&D based roleplaying games. This is more of a Clark Ashton Smith / Robert E. Howard kind of swarthy, silk-clad sorcerer than the standard wizard most people are used to.
It'll be released tomorrow on DriveThruRPG and RPGNow. Five pages and free to download. Update and link when it's up.

My thoughts:
I wasn't expecting much out of this. A wizard class is a wizard class, right?
I was wrong. This one isn't necessarily about mechanics of magic, but an interesting character template that would be fun to create and play over time. After reading this my first question was : "What kind of person is this?" I'd have to play one to find out how one of them (and only one, as I can't see members of this class as stereotypical) would unfold as an individual personality.

If you use it while gaming, definitely let me know.
