I have a question for V.S., but I thought it would be better to post it here instead of sending a PM. I am wondering to what degree have you ever seen the dark god-like forces manifest? I mean a god or a daemon or similar (even though I think the word 'god' has its own share of missapplication). How difficult or easy is it to get the attention of the void's higher intelligences? How long have you been practicing magic for?

I have a question for V.S., but I thought it would be better to post it here instead of sending a PM. I am wondering to what degree have you ever seen the dark god-like forces manifest? I mean a god or a daemon or similar (even though I think the word 'god' has its own share of missapplication). How difficult or easy is it to get the attention of the void's higher intelligences? How long have you been practicing magic for? I have seen their forces manifest, and I have felt their presence. Those are different things, but just wanted to affirm both in case you were talking about one instead of the other.
The world operates according to a certain design. Within that design are errors, mistakes, bugs, glitches in the matrix that should not occur, that cannot be accounted for given this fact: man is asleep without much hope of awaking.
In times of ritual, moments of passion and aesthetic overload, when I am like the void... then I'm in-tune with the Ancient Ones. They call to me.
It is not difficult to get their attention, but neither is it a simple task. If you stop production, they'll become aware of you and your activities. But what is being produced in this factory of ours, this factory of pain? You might already know the answer: suffering. If you can stop suffering, even for a short while, then the universe will take notice. Both sides.
If you haven't read Liber A:O, then I highly recommend it. It's a continuation of Cthulhu Cult. Look for it on the CoC website.

I'm on page 67 of cthulu cult pdf. also i read a percent of AO, but I took a break from reading it. Little by little I plan to read both completely.
I'm more focused on death gods than I am focused on void gods lately, but I consider both very important.
Thanks for your response.

[teal]Hot damn VS. That was quite the post. I'll be adding that to my archive of Cthulhu Cult material, if you don't mind.[/teal]
