Is anyone else here a Vegan or Vegetarian? If so what are your reasons behind the choice? I would say my reasons for Veganism was the suffering I saw involved with eating meat. You watch the television and you see an another animal ripping another to shreds. And most people's response is "it's nature get over it". This is another clear example of mans ignorance of the matrix system he is imprisoned in. Suffering seems to me to be something that binds us in fear to this prison. Your views?

I have a Hindu friend who is a vegetarian, abstaining from eating meat, fish and eggs. They do have milk and yoghurt. Jains, who belong to another Indian religion, would never eat meat either. A vegetarian diet is said to be more ethical, preventing high blood cholesterol, leading to heart disease. This is a major cause of death in the Western world. Current advice is to eat more fruit and vegetables, and less red meat. However, a medical doctor would warn that the blood system can become depleted of Vitamin B12, essential for bone growth, in strict vegans. Therefore it is necessary to look for this supplement in milk products or tablets before becoming a vegetarian.
