Two words: so what? It's not like Master Venger changed who he was for this. It is his and his family's choice to do what they want. What are they supposed to do, hide all other religions from their child and force her to believe what they believe? It is, in my opinion, another event that will let her choose on her own what she believes. Had my parents been like this, we would be on a lot better terms right now. A satanist I once knew said that in raising a "satanic" child, you couldn't force anything on the child, including Satanism. How could someone teach self-deism while forcing their idea of it? Tom sounds like every other self-identifiying Satanist I've ever heard. "Being a Real Satanist," he must, of course, know EVERYTHING there is about the LHP. Awake!

Yeah I'm gonna have to side with Venger on this one since he can speak English and doesn't come off as a huge prick, unlike this 'Tom Erik Raspotnik'.

I'll use numbers like Tom did so that he can understand my response.
1. Hahaha! WTF? This is somehow a big deal and newsworthy in the Satanic community? Ok, sure. Why not? If this isn't the death-knell of modern satanism, then I don't know what is.
2. I might be Satanic (depends on your perspective), definitely Left Hand Path, always a Cultist - that means I try to make the best decisions for myself whenever possible. How's your sad sack life going, hoss? Not just you, Tom, but everyone reading this. If you're life is lacking, then put in the effort to make it better. Desperately trying to tear others down won't actually improve your situation. FYI.
3. I don't hate Catholicism, Christianity, or any religion. Sometimes I hate the followers or the contemporary understanding of a certain religion, but not the religion itself. Most of the time, hatred is a waste of time and emotional energy. Just how threatened by Christianity should a "real" Satanist be?
4. The Cult of Cthulhu, at its heart and core, is a Fourth Way school, heavily influenced by such 4th Way teachers as Gurdjieff, Ouspensky, Nicoll, and others. Some view the 4th Way as "Esoteric Christianity".
Jesus can be seen as a LHP figure, in the right light. As a man struggling towards Godhood, I thought it would be cool seeing Jesus and I in a photo together. Additionally, I've often maintained that the Cult of Cthulhu was influenced by Gnosticism.
5. To "walk away" from people and situations because of incongruent belief systems is one thing. But to distance oneself from people and situations because of minute semantic differences is utterly ridiculous! People aren't that different. We want things we like and don't want things we don't like. People are broken machines - all of us. Only some, have the knowledge and being to Awaken.
I don't support a lot of Satanists and hardly any so-called "modern satanists" (just like I don't support many Christians), but I take everyone on an individual basis. I'm not going to disparage an entire group, religion, or ethnicity just because I'm not part of that group, religion, or ethnicity. That's one of the main reasons I decided to take over the Nine Angled Order (previously known as the ONA).
6. I don't see my religion as fictitious. I also don't think it's so fragile that it can be weakened by open-mindedness and tolerance for other faiths. Participating in a non-CoC spiritual ceremony does not weaken my own foundation. If anyone seems "challenged" here... I think it's you, Tom.
7. Secret? I posted this photo myself on FB a couple weeks ago. It's not like I was trying to hide anything. Why would I?
The Cult of Cthulhu isn't trying to make a profit, nor am I. Want the free PDF of Cthulhu Cult? All anyone has to do is ask.
8. Any kind of anointing or baptism or communion is purely symbolic - unless it involves the true will of the participant. It doesn't ensure the spiritual life, this way or that, of any individual. All it does is reassure the superstitious and create family events.
I was baptized when I was about 1 year old in the Methodist Church. What does that tell you?
9. What am I doing with my spare time these days? Reading, watching movies, playing poker, spending time with my family, exercising, hanging out at the office, and a little bit of CoC stuff around the slimy edges. But if you want to imagine I'm up to all kinds of weird and unspeakable shenanigans, then by all means...
10. Yesterday, my wife, daughter, and I attended a dinosaur exhibit. I may post pictures of that on FB too. Does that mean I'm suddenly shunning Shub-Niggurath in favor of my new God T-Rex? Uh, no.
11. I don't hide my faith. My friends and family know what I'm about. But I don't needlessly advertise it either. Why make a big production or statement out of what I believe? My beliefs are for me. I own my reality and no one has to share or believe in it.
12. People criticize me all the time. I'm used to it. When I make a mistake, I fully expect people to call me out. And when I'm not making a mistake (as per usual), people will still come out of the woodwork to make their opinions known. Whatever.
13. Alright, what "occult wisdom" have you noticed coming from me? Name three things, if you can. I doubt you'd recognize occult wisdom, Tom, if it crawled up betwixt your legs and douched you.
14. For the last time, Satanists doesn't get an apostrophe - unless you're talking about the Satanist's pentagram! Hail the real Satanists! Hail those who understand punctuation and grammar, too!
15. Just for the finale of The Godfather part II, Catholic baptisms can be cool.
16. Yes, Briella Emerald Satanis is cute, and she also happens to kick fucking ass!
17. I didn't read all the FB comments. And I would hope that no one expects me to sift through all the posts spread out on Satanic message boards and beyond. However, I do want to mention one jealous/insecure person in particular.
Dark Fool, you are too scared of your own shadow to talk to me like a man. If you're curious about my family life or the power dynamics of my relationship, then ask me. For the love of Cthulhu (or Satan, if you prefer), stop being a passive aggressive, gossipy, and whiny, little bitch. "Cutting all ties" to someone does not mean you should resort to posting silly, ignorant comments about a former friend's private life instead of facing the man you so obviously fear.

Seriously, though -- I have to say this caught me a little off-guard. But the look on Venger's face in the pic says it all.

Wow. I just read Tom What's-his-name's blog/rant/whatever the hell that was, and now my head hurts. Apparently, a basic high school education is not deemed necessary for true Satanic Occult Wisdom, eh? Of course, I dropped out of high school at 15, but then, I'm not purporting to be the only true Satanic Leader in this Nation, now am I? What some people are willing to waste their time on simply astounds me sometimes. Now, back to my dragons...

And *this* is the demographic that Tom preys on. The mildly educated and woefully butthurt ex-Christian types. Anyone else, is then considered a detractor (gawd he over uses that word so much it should be stricken from the English language!).
You gotta wonder how much he benefits from all of this, he seems to invest a lot of his time and energy into trivial matters and mediocre people.

My comment:
I'd be very much surprised if this "Reverend Gino" wasn't Tom himself. How many Satanists don't know that "aka new day Satanist’s that will join these person" isn't correct? Can it be more than one or two in the world?
At least the aesthetics of Gino's blog (see what I did there? Correct use of an apostrophe) is slightly better than Tom's bare white abomination.

I'm agnostic/atheist, but used to be christian. I enjoy hearing people say "Cthulhu does not exist." Reminds me why were all insane, or some of use are right:)

Now, I know I'm not the most literate guy around, and I'm certainly not the most educated, but I always thought that Satanists and others who walk the Left Hand Path were supposed to take pride in being intellectually superior to the mindless masses which surround them. How sad is it that "modern Satanism" has devolved into a bunch of whiny emo kids who can't string a simple sentence together in their pointless rants against whatever the cause du jour is.

Yes, I agree. I am no Satanist but from my understanding of Satanism HE is the one going against what it stands for, not Venger. By lashing out at another religion that has done nothing wrong to you he is no better than the Christian Church.

CS Fair's fair, I suppose. I wanted his attention; provoked a reaction with the tail end of my response to Tom's Facebook post plus a few barnacle-like critics such as DF. Now, he has my attention, albeit briefly. A new video will be up on YouTube later tonight.
No matter what I say, there will always be some VS haters who claim that Christianity or DF or T-Rex somehow pwned me. Oh well.

Will there always be haters? Of course, you can't please everyone and I have my own group of those that have nothing at all to do with you or this cult.

I think its pretty funny, that DF's Mangina hurt is being used to gain attention for his personal ideologies. Perhaps using Venger is the only way he ensured to get viewing hits. Seems to be the consensus.
I wanted to add, that this is specifically the reason I can't stand Satanic forums. Satanists talking about the same old shit, and obsessing over religion. The B'jebus was the adversary of his time. The Bible is a collection of parables which can either be used to achieve the god head or become a slave. It's all reliant on the person's psyche to begin with. The contents of the book are wholly occult, and not generally understood by the reader. People favor their literalisms in favor of The Way.
Rise and repeat.

Great video Brother Satanis. You look much more mature than the ones attacking you.Convincing about Christ and his way. It's useful to insist on that point, christianity as we know it has little to do with the original teaching of Christ.
Don't you think "Venger-haters" are obsessed by you ? And they just add to your fame ha ha ha.
I suggest you insert a little more humor in your future videos, the experience you got as standing comedian could be use to make them even better ; Even when speaking of tragic, epic, subject adding a little touch of humor isn't bad taste.
